Awards Scholarships
PARSONS, Kan., July 19, 2010-- The Labette Health Foundation awarded scholarships this year to 19 area students for a total of $17,250. During an awards luncheon at Commercial Bank July 16,
Foundation President Brian West, Tom Macaronas, Labette Health Interim CEO, and Rod Landrum, Foundation Executive Director, presented each recipient a check and challenged the students to excel in their respective careers. This year’s recipients are the largest class to receive scholarships from the Labette Health Foundation.
To date, the Foundation has granted $89,300 to local students pursuing careers in health care and related fields.
